Summay of Result Targets |
|
The project is expected to contribute to enhancing
sub-regional transboundary cooperation for the ecological
conservation and sustainable development of the Lower Tumen River
area. To this end, UNESCOs Transboundary Biosphere Reserve (TBR)
model and institutional mechanism will be applied to the Lower Tumen
River area.
Major output of the project will be a TBR proposal
including guidelines for transboundary cooperation, institutional
mechanisms, establishment procedures, a draft Biosphere Reserve (BR)
nomination form and follow-up recommendations on TBR implementation
action plan and funds mobilization.. |
